Top 5 iOS Business Apps in the Middle East: Q4 2024 Performance

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top five business apps on iOS in the Middle East demonstrated varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Microsoft Teams saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, starting from around 55K in early October and declining to about 29K by the end of December. Active users peaked at approximately 3.5M in mid-October but fell to around 2.6M by the end of the quarter.

WhatsApp Business maintained a steady weekly download rate, hovering around 44K to 48K throughout the quarter. Revenue showed an upward trend, starting at $15.3K and peaking at about $25K in early December. Active users increased slightly from 3.9M to over 4M by the end of December.

Zoom Workplace experienced a decrease in weekly downloads, starting at 55K and dropping to 29K by December. Revenue was relatively stable, averaging around $39K to $47K. Active users initially rose to 3.3M in early November but fell to about 2.8M by year-end.

The GOSI app had a notable spike in downloads, reaching nearly 70K in early October, before stabilizing around 30K to 45K. Active users fluctuated, reaching up to 290K at the start of the quarter and settling near 230K by December.

LinkedIn: Network & Job Finder saw its revenue peak at $648K in late November. Downloads remained consistent, averaging around 22K to 28K. Active users decreased slightly, from 1.8M at the start of the quarter to 1.57M by the end.
